I'm delighted to share that The Real Meal Deal is now an official corporate partner of the international food aid charity Mary's Meals.

Even more excitingly, from May 2026, all profits generated by The Real Meal Deal will be dedicated to supporting their incredible work feeding children in some of the world's poorest communities.
This partnership feels like a natural next step in a journey that began many years ago.
What started as a search for practical family meals gradually became something much bigger. Over the years, I've learned that food isn't just about what's on our plates. The way we grow, buy, cook and waste food affects our health and our budgets, but also our planet and communities around the world, especially those living with hunger and poverty.
More than anything, food connects us and that's why Mary's Meals feels like such a perfect fit.
Founded in 2002, Mary's Meals began by feeding just 200 children in Malawi. Today, they feed more than 3 million children across 16 countries. They have fundraising groups and offices in the USA, Canada, Australia and Ireland, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the UAE.

What really impresses me is the simplicity of their approach. For just ยฃ19.15 / US$25.20 / CAN$31.70 / AUS$34.80 / โฌ22.00, they can provide one child with a daily meal for an entire school year.
Just pause and think about that for a moment.
Imagine waking up every morning knowing that, no matter what kind of day you're having, somewhere a child who might otherwise go hungry is receiving a meal because of your support.
I'm also reassured by the way Mary's Meals operates. An impressive 93% of all funds raised go directly to front-line charitable work. This helps ensure donations make the greatest possible impact.
The mission of The Real Meal Deal has always been to help people eat well, waste less and make food choices that are better for both people and planet. Not through perfection, but through practical, achievable changes that fit into real life.
Mary's Meals takes that same practical approach. Feeding children in communities that are often among the hardest hit by poverty, food insecurity and climate change is a chance to make a real difference today while investing in a better future tomorrow.
Three million children receiving meals is incredible. But there are millions more still waiting. The opportunity to help even one more child access food and education is simply too important to ignore.

So after all these years, this feels like exactly where The Real Meal Deal is meant to be.
I feel privileged, excited and proud to dedicate this site to supporting the work of Mary's Meals.
Of course, none of this happens without you.
Every visit to The Real Meal Deal helps. The recipes, meal plans and sustainability tips willย remain free for you to use, and the advertising revenue generated through your site visits helps support the work of Mary's Meals.
If you're able to go one step further, my ebook A Place at Your Table costs just ยฃ19.15 / US$25.20 / CAN$31.70 / AUS$34.80 / โฌ22.00 which is enough to feed one child for an entire school year through Mary's Meals.
It's also a practical guide to turning everyday meals into a force for good.
Inside, you'll discover simple ways to reduce food waste, eat more sustainably, lower your environmental impact and save money. You'll also find meal-planning systems, seasonal menu plans, food storage guides and practical ideas that make sustainable eating easier in everyday life.
Thank you for supporting me on this food blogging journey so far.
My hope is that together we can do more than share recipes. We can help create a world where more children have a place at the table.
Because every bite, every meal and every choice matters.
